Ah, tough times. But God is good.
A couple of years ago, my husband shared with me that he had accumulated credit card debt that I was not aware of. It created some marital strain, but we have worked together and grown together and have a better marriage now than ever. We have been paying down the debt faithfully. However, on Friday we learned that my husband's employer was laying off 50% of the workers. My husband was one of them. Please pray that we could find work, but more importantly, that we would continue to trust in Jesus. thanks - Jane.

That's really too bad about the lay off, I can sympathize! I'm sure that God has a *good* plan and you'll see it by and by! We'll pray for God's leading for your family.

It's nice to "meet" you. I'm sorry to hear about your husband's layoff. I know that God is in control and He uses these times to strenghten our Faith. I will definatly be praying for you in this difficult time.
As for the blog layout. There are hundreds of free domain backgrounds to use for inpiration. I found the background on a free scrapbooking site and created elements around it in Paint Shop. Then I uploaded it to HTML and voila, a new blog template. It was pretty easy and there's lots available on the web for help.
